Adagio is Italian for "at ease" and on a music score means "Play Slowly". Adagio in Auburn invites you to shed the stresses of the city, listen to carolling of birds, a chorus of frogs and "be at ease" for a while in your busy life.
Our B&B is situated in the charming town of Auburn in the renowned Clare Valley Wine Region only 1hour 20mins from Adelaide. Adagio is quietly nestled alongside the Wakefield River in Auburn providing the perfect location for your city get away. Auburn is at the southern most end of Clare Valley and retains the cultural charm that the Clare Valley is known for in addition to being the home of world renowned wineries and award wining restaurants.

In Summer: Sit at our table under dense dappled shade, breathe in the atmosphere and enjoy a chilled Clare Valley Riesling

The B&B has seen many faces through the last 120 years, however the recent refurbishment, brings modern chic to the historic building. The beautiful Mintaro Slate floors are set off with high quality furnishings, luxurious King Bed, beautiful super king bed linen, and a romantic charm to ensure your escape to Auburn lives up to your every expectation.
